I’m currently seeking a Producer, Director, Executive Producer, and Agent/Representation for The Hall of Forgotten Dreams — an internationally award-winning animated short with strong festival recognition and clear expansion potential.
This is a completed, high-concept screenplay grounded in emotional truth and cinematic storytelling, designed to resonate with both animation and adult audiences.
Genre: Animated / Drama / Inspirational
Format: Animated Short Film (with feature and series expansion potential)
Synopsis:
A young girl wakes inside a vast, impossible hall where abandoned dreams are kept. Endless shelves stretch into darkness, filled with glowing scrolls, each one holding a life someone once imagined for themselves. Some shine with quiet intensity, while others fade, neglected and close to disappearing. When she begins to encounter them, the scrolls reveal something unsettling not fantasy, but truth. The lives people almost lived. The paths they stepped away from. The versions of themselves they left behind in exchange for what felt safer, more acceptable, more practical. As she moves deeper into the hall, she realizes this is not a place of imagination but a system where dreams are stored until they are forgotten completely. When she finds her own scroll still intact, still waiting, she is forced to confront the same choice that placed every other dream there the moment where fear disguises itself as reason and letting go feels responsible. The Hall of Forgotten Dreams is a visually driven, emotionally grounded story about the cost of abandoning who you are and what it takes to choose your life before it disappears.
