Jimmy Barranco is a director, writer, producer and film & TV composer. He's known for his work on his latest films Adjuration (2019) and Missing Girl (2017).
Since a young age, Barranco started making short-films and experimental films. It wasn't until 2010 when he started doing corporate and commercial work. After studying Advertising at Universidad APEC and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, he started working full-time on his craft. Starting with TV work, as the lead-editor for El Show de Raymond y Miguel (2004) while still in college, and then, after graduating, he started his quest towards more dramatic films instead of experimental shorts.
He actually resides in Madrid, Spain. He's the owner of his own production company, Black Letter Films, and a music label that distributes the scores of his films, Black Letter Music.
