About Dane

Peter Rowe is a documentary and dramatic filmmaker specializing in themes of exploration and adventure. His 49 part television series β€œAngry Planet” airs in 35 countries around the world. He is currently producing "Biograph Girl", a feature film based on the life of the world's first movie star, Florence Lawrence. His feature films include β€œTreasure Island”, starring Jack Palance and Kevin Zegers, β€œLost!”, starring Ken Welsh, Michael Hogan and Helen Shaver, and β€œThe Best Bad Thing” starring George Takei and Kirin Kiki. He is the director of numerous documentaries including β€œBeyond the Red Wall: The Persecution of Falun Gong”, β€œJoshua Slocum: Sailing Alone Around the World”, and β€œPopcorn with Maple Syrup: Film in Canada from Eh to Zed”. Television series he has directed include β€œOn the Run”, β€œSuper Humans”, β€œReady or Not”, β€œE.N.G”, β€œAfrican Skies” and β€œFast Track”. He is also a painter, photographer and writer. Recent exhibitions of his paintings have been held at the Artsquare Gallery, Curran Gallery, Ben Navaee Gallery and Creeds Coffee Bar, all in Toronto, the Riverwood Gallery in Mississauga and The Edge Gallery in Barrie, Ontario. His book Adventures in Filmmaking was published in 2013.

    Film by Patronage Films Production Legal Counsel Lily, an uptight business woman and Philippe, a larger than life French mushroom tripping gigolo are 8 months pregnant. Their therapist recommends a nature getaway at a remote cabin. Their little weekend trip turns into a hilarious adventure when Philippe stumbles upon a magic box that swaps out their souls. Lily and Philippe are tasked with riddle after riddle not only to get their own bodies back but to also get a better understanding of their opposite and what they have to offer as parents.
