About Shohan

Shohan Nur is a young promising cinematographer from Bangladesh. Working as a professional Cinematographer. I started work in the motion
pictures industry as a film crew in a production house based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. After that i join as a Camera Incharge at a Production House. I assist with DP Mahfooz-ur Rahman Khan (BCS) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahfuzur_Rahman_Khan in some amazing projects. Some Of Them Are Dhaka Attack (2017),
Film 35mm (unrealized), Rupsha Nodir Bake (2020), Unmad (unrealized), Girgiti (unrealized). I studied from
Filmmaking at Bangladesh Film Institute - BFI
Computer. eng at Classic Engineering Institute of Technology
Higher Secondary Studies at Maolana Vaswani Degree Collage

I worked as a DP Films, Commercials, Reality Shows, Cooking Show, Music Videos, AV, Documentary,
Fictions, and narrative. Some of them are "Baba - The Fathe A film by Nurul Islam Milton, Blaight - A film by Mohammad Jakaria, Likee Girl live Show Bangladesh,Kumarika Miss Natural, Romzane
Rupchada Season 4,Onovijog - a Film by Hasib Shakil. I worked with some of the production houses like Fullscreen Films, Tripod Films, Pixler Films,Chobir Karigor, Noor Films,Anwar Azad Films (CANADA).
Besides working as a cinematographer I enjoy Playing, eating great food, connecting to people from all
walks of life, reading, traveling to different parts of the world, listening to music, experiencing art,
philosophy, and fashion.

Unique traits: My perspective Cinematography is not about creating beautiful shot It's about telling the story with image.I just have to know, what i want to shoot.If I Have a reason to move the camera then it will move . I find the style that suit the project. I Create a sense of reality with the light. I Plan as much as i can but i always ready to adapt. I Think about how I want the audience to feel. I'm good to work with natural light and i create depth with lenses and i design longer take because i don’t want to interrupt my audience as well.
