Paula Micallef was born Paula Lee Rosevear in Los Angeles, CA. Her father, William H. Rosevear was a psychologist and her mother Betty Rosevear a nurse. She was raised in the San Fernando Valley until the age of ten when her father accepted a position in Pakistan. A life long love of traveling and people began. From country to country she found a knack for imitating accents and making people laugh. Her love for the stage began in Karachi, Pakistan when she performed for the Karachi American School. Paula lived in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil where she performed on stage at Escola Americana. Through her school years she continued her eduction in television production and acting for the camera. She began to work with the Lawrence Parke Academy of Actors in 1983 and continued to work with Mr. Parke, her lifelong mentor, formally for two more years. Modeling, industrial videos, commercials, the Internet and film have followed.
Unique traits: Accents and dialects are a specialty of mine. British (formal), Cockney, French, American Southern, Pakistani, German, Italian the list goes on.
