My Tibetan Godchild (2019)
Film (short) by Andy Svensson (Documentary) Producer, Director; Writer, Filmmaker A Tibetan Family's house & property gets confiscated by the Chinese authorities in Tibet. They have to sell all of their belongings & try to survive with some petty business. The parents separates & the mother decides to send her 12 years old daughter to India with two Buddhist monks. The girl is brought to Dharamsala and then to a Tibetan Children's Village. A young man in Switzerland takes the sponsorship for the girl and visits her 12 years later in India.
