But where to start?

This 30-Day Challenge includes these 9 CHALLENGE CATEGORIES:

PREP - Courtesy of the Writers’ Room, every challenge starts with a Goal-Setting Worksheet (click here to download) to identify your individual aims and what steps can be taken on the way to achieving them.

After that, PREP can also look like research before making a decision. This part is always FREE.

PROFILE - Putting together and updating your Stage 32 Profile is at the heart of making industry connections here on Stage 32. Just like any other platform, this is where potential connections will look to gain clarity as to whether or not they want to work with you. So, every additional bit of information you can provide here is worth your time and effort! Yep, still FREE.

CONNECT - Once your profile is set up, be sure to reach out so new connections are looking at your profile. This is also intended for reconnecting with previous contacts as well. FREE, unless you’re looking for a service as part of that connection. Also, just because certain professionals are on the site doesn’t mean they want to add everyone to their network. So if they have not accepted your request to connect, please respect their space until you become better acquainted with them. Take the time to get to know people and build relationships.

BROWSE - As part of your research, you do have the ability to browse - members, projects, alumni, meetups, even loglines! This is a targeted search to ensure your preparation is working towards your specific goals. SO FREE!

EDUCATION - We all need to learn and grow as we move forward with our careers in the industry, and continuing education is a great way to do just that! This Challenge Category still focuses on the FREE education available to all. This does include UPCOMING webinars as well as past recordings and Blogs.

ATTEND - This category is all about that magical combination of showing up for an event - education, accountability group, peer reviews - and benefiting from the social aspect as well. Again, this Challenge will only suggest the FREE events.

POST - Stage 32 has topical LOUNGES, much like a LinkedIn Group, so that members can chat among themselves. As part of the challenge, there are plenty of opportunities to be held accountable for your aims and your action steps. Posting is one of the best ways to stay accountable. PLUS, you may meet some incredible people along the way, improving your overall process! Posting in the lounges? Yep. Always FREE.

COMMENT - Once posted, comments are the way to keep the conversation going. Comment on others’ posts, comment on your own posts, you can even build a LEGACY POST by making updates on an old post, so you can see the whole saga unfold! And this one is, wait for it… FREE!

REVIEW (Services) - Now that you’ve thoroughly ravaged Stage 32’s completely FREE resources - and please do, that’s what they are there for! - It’s time to see if there is anything more you can gain from the platform. Much like PREP, REVIEW is going through Stage 32’s Script Services, Contests, and Certifications to see what added value paid ANYTHING can do for your immediate goals. The answer may be “no”, but you’ll only know by taking full advantage of the FREE resources and comparing them to what more is being offered with paid services.
