SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis; The Reacquaintance GENO GRASSO, a professional hitman for over two decades, who kills with no remorse, enters a hotel fully disguised. On his way to his room he has an eerie feeling he’s being watched. Inside his room while prepping for a hit he starts to have second thoughts. As he walks out of the bathroom a man sits waiting for him. Geno pulls out his gun but the stranger has the bullet clip and his back up pistol. The man introduces himself. He is EUGENE ANTHONY GRASSO, Geno’s conscious. He looks like Geno but in better shape, with more style, and not as weathered as Geno. Completely dumbfounded, Geno realizes Eugene may not be a figment of his imagination. Eugene attempts to show Geno who he really is and tries to change his ways and reboot his life. Eugene points out times in Geno’s life where his sociopathic personality got in the way of him being a happy ma. After an intense meltdown Geno decides to quit the business and change. Two hours later Geno meets SAL FELICCI, a major crime boss in New York, and Geno’s employer, at the hotel bar. Geno has changed, not only in his demeanor, but in his total look. Sal can’t believe the metamorphosis the best hit man in the business has gone through. Sal tells Geno he can’t retire because his personality and the thrill of the game won’t allow it. Geno tells Sal he’s wrong. He leaves the detonator to the bomb he planted, the money he was supposed to make, and tells Sal to do it himself. The next morning, Sam in his car, watches the witness leave his safe house. He presses the button. Nothing happens. A car surrounds Sal’s and federal agents pile out. An agent holds the disabled bomb at Sal. At the street corner Geno watches the action. He looks across the street and sees Eugene. They salute. Eugene gets lost in the crowd. Geno enters a church. Six months later a rejuvenated Geno sits at a small café in Tuscany, Italy drinking a glass of wine. A beautiful woman sits next to him and wraps her arm around Geno. They watch the gorgeous sunset.
