Global "walk a mile in her shoes" day - ballet it up! | David Roberts

The Pixel Project and Venture Humanity (the non-profit founders of "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes®") are proud to jointly present the inaugural Global Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® Day for Father's Day 2011 (Sunday 19 June 2011). This event is held in conjunction with The Pixel Project's Celebrity Male Role Model Pixel Reveal campaign and also in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Walk. Global "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes" Day will help to: - To raise positive awareness about the importance of preventing, stopping and ending violence against women worldwide. - To provide a fun opportunity for nonprofits working to end Violence Against Women (VAW) worldwide to raise and share much-needed funds together. - To help The Pixel Project further unveil their mystery Male Role Models in their bid to raise $1 million in aid of the U.S.'s National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Malaysia's Women's Aid Organisation through the Pixel Reveal campaign.
