Hello Stage 32!
My name is Joshua Long. I am songwriter, composer, music producer, and an interfaith climate activist out of Baltimore, Maryland. I am also the founder of Long Strong Music, a pro-human music production company with credits BET's "Coach Vick Experience" and "Bob Ross and the Joy of Painting." My music is primarily cinematic hip-hop or rock variations and they fit well with advertisements, reality tv, sports, and streaming shows. Over the next several years, Long Strong Music will grow into a climate conscious record label and an online music education hub for up and coming artists. http://longstrongmusic.com
One of my immediate goals is to become the go to music composer for electric vehicle campaigns worldwide, especially as E.V.s from china move into North American markets. I believe this is an opportunity for a high ROI while being a part of an innovative market that is helping the planet mitigate climate change.
I am joining Stage 32 for two reasons:
1. To connect with music supervisors, music editors, filmmakers, screenwriters, ad agencies, reality TV producers, and other creatives in the visual media space.
2. To raise money to take Long Strong Music to the next level. I would like to connect with angel investors and even VCs who would are interested in a company that seeks to have a positive impact on the world while producing high returns.
