Animated series have an incredible power to captivate audiences for years—or even decades—and today’s market is bursting with opportunities for fresh, original voices like yours. If you’ve poured your heart into creating an animated show, this is your moment to shine. Mastering the art of pitching your idea to networks and streamers can open doors to long-lasting success and meaningful creative impact. The industry is hungry for unique animated content—let’s make sure your pitch stands out and gets the attention it deserves!

Many creatives stumble when pitching animation because they overlook key nuances — from identifying the right subgenre to knowing whether or not to include concept art. What materials should you send before and after the pitch? How do you keep executives engaged whether you’re pitching in person or virtually? Knowing the right terminology, anticipating buyer questions, and framing your pitch perfectly are challenges that can easily derail your opportunity if you’re unprepared.

This exclusive Stage 32 webinar is led by Pia Chikiamco, a seasoned industry expert who served as VP of Original Programming at HBO. Pia has shepherded acclaimed shows like A Black Lady Sketch Show and Los Espookys, developed original animated projects for Hulu, FX, and TBS, and has deep experience working with networks such as ABC, CBS, and Adult Swim. Pia is also a member of the executive peer group at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and advises for the Sundance Episodic Program — making her the perfect guide to help you navigate this process.

By the end of this webinar, you’ll walk away fully prepared, and ready to leave a lasting impression with your animated series pitch! You’ll discover how to craft a winning pitch—from preparing your materials and building a standout pitch bible, to mastering pitch etiquette and confidently handling the toughest questions buyers throw your way. We’ll guide you through every step of the process, from landing that crucial pitch meeting to navigating what comes next, whether you seal the deal or receive a pass. Can’t attend live?
